What does Smart Production Solutions do?
Smart Production Solutions (SPS) builds apps for manufacturers that connect production, warehouse and office to your ERP in real time. JobControl runs the shop floor, StockControl the warehouse and TimeControl time tracking in the office. Paper work orders, planning lists and retyping become a thing of the past.
What is the difference between our ERP and the SPS apps?
In the office you simply keep working in your ERP. On the shop floor – workshop, production and warehouse – people work with the SPS apps. The apps take work orders, bills of materials and stock from the ERP and send hours, quantities and material usage back in real time. One source of truth, no double entry.
Which ERP systems do the apps work with?
SPS is an official partner of Infor, SAP, Exact and ECI Ridder iQ, so we connect to these systems quickly and reliably. Other ERP systems – as well as attendance systems, document systems or machines – are connected via our API.
How quickly can we go live?
Within one day. Our apps already exist: we install them, configure them with you in a workshop to match your processes, and go live. Following the “train the trainer” principle we transfer the knowledge, so it stays within your organisation. No big IT project needed.
Do we need to buy new hardware?
Usually not. The apps run fully in the cloud, on tablets, touchscreens, laptops or PCs you already have. In the warehouse, StockControl also runs on scanners and handhelds.
How easy is it for operators?
The apps are intuitive: clear screens and few steps. New employees are productive within a day, even with changing staff. Operators see exactly what to do, with the right drawing and work instruction attached to the order.
Where is our data stored?
Your production data is stored on servers in Europe, secure and GDPR-compliant. SPS is ISO 27001 certified (BSI). Because everything runs in the cloud, you don’t have to manage any servers yourself.
Which companies is SPS suitable for?
Manufacturers: including machine builders, contract manufacturers, high-tech and electronics, food and automotive. Our apps run at manufacturers worldwide, including in the Benelux, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland and the United States.
Are we tied to a long-term contract?
No. No thick, iron-clad contracts: if you’re not happy with our solution, we tear up the contract. We work as a partner, not a supplier.
